4. What does the poet mean by saying, “I couldn’t move without her, any more than she could move without me”?
The poet means that Becky and her wheelchair depend on each other. The wheelchair cannot move without Becky, and Becky cannot move without the wheelchair.

5. Where would the wheelchair be without Becky?
Without Becky, the wheelchair would be parked in a garage.

6. Can you identify the lines that show Becky’s desire for independence?
