While preparing the plan of buildings, it also includes exact measurements. But when sketches are prepared, measurements may not be exact.

♦ What are latitudes?
Imaginary circles drawn parallel to the Equator are called latitudes.

♦ What are longitudes?
The semicircular lines drawn perpendicular to the latitudes are called longitudes.

♦ What is Globe?
A globe is a spherical model of the earth. 

♦ What is  Map
When the features of the earth’s surface are drawn on a flat surface, is called a map.
